Are you ready to live and work in Japan?
Japan has rich culture, which maintains a balance between the traditions of the past and marvels of the modern era. Walking down a street of a large city, one might see a high school teenager dressed in the latest fashion talking on her cell phone, pass a woman dressed in a kimono traveling to a traditional tea ceremony.
The country is divided into 47 prefectures and over 3,300 municipal governments in Japan with Tokyo, the nation's capital, as the political and economic center of Japan. The islands of Japan contains 125 million people on 150, 000 sq miles of land, which is smaller than the land area of California, USA. By comparison, the United States of America has 285 million people in a land area of about 3.5 million sq miles. Be prepared, one might think that it is a little crowded.
